Best Car Games For Xbox 360 – One of the best things Microsoft does with Xbox One is ensuring its commitment to backward compatibility. New backward compatible games are added at all times. Like the recent additions – Overlord and Overlord II – this is shared by Major Nelson on Twitter at 9 AM PT on Twitter, although there is no specific timetable for how many are released (if any) on any given day. It’s always a mystery when we’ll get more; we only know what time and will arrive in the workday, but the next game is usually not far away.

Even without the right schedule for new releases, the last few years have seen the list of compatible games to back grow long enough – and, consequently, can be very difficult to find valuable ones. Not only are there 400+ Xbox 360 games that can be played on Xbox One, but more than 30+ original Xbox titles are also supported.

Beyond consistent game launches, Microsoft openly explains that backwards compatibility is a real priority for the company. “I see the game as an art form,” said Xbox boss Phil Spencer last year. “Console games can disappear when hardware generation is lost. This can be more challenging to play our past games … There is something to learn from experiencing what I play as a child. There is good business there for content owners, but as players, it’s great to understand how our art form develops. ”

Spencer then explains that backwards compatibility – even though the report shows it is ignored – a feature people use. He wrote data that said otherwise and pointed to a strong sales example for the old Call of Duty game when added to the service: “I think the best signal we have so far is when Black Ops II lands and the month press the NPD Top 10 that month for sales game Xbox 360 game that is a year old, it shows that people care. ”

This feature only gets better with the Xbox One X release, as it offers sharper visuals in these old games; some even have certain enhancements on top of increased resolution. But whether you play on X, Xbox One S, or even the standard Xbox One, you are treated to features that are currently unmatched by the PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

While it does not provide access to everything available on the original Xbox 360 and Xbox, the backward compatible games of both include classics ranging from extensive RPGs and thrilling adventures to XBLA gems and enhanced old arcade games for large screens. Among them are great figures like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect Trilogy, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to name a few. But if you want a faster challenge to jump on, people like Ikaruga or Super Meat Boy will do the trick.
