2. Ford EcoSport
Ford EcoSport has just received a great refresher. Regardless of the look and options of the new engine, the interior has received a huge improvement as well. One of the major updates includes an 8-inch infotainment system. The new EcoSport gets Sync 3. In addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Sync 3 offers hands-free music and call and navigation. It can also update itself via wi-fi connectivity.
Coming to the music system, the car gets 4-speakers and 2 tweeters. The sound quality is clear and good for the 4-speaker music system. All said and done, Ford EcoSport wins Nexon when it comes to features in an infotainment system but Nexon has beaten in terms of sound output and quality puts Nexon a bit ahead of EcoSport.
3. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
The Maruti Brezza has been around the longest and recently got updates as well. The Brezza got a 7 inch SmartPlay infotainment system that gets USB, Bluetooth, and Aux connectivity like the cars above. Like the norm, there are also voice commands, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Mirror links. there is a built-in GPS as well but you need a map that is pre-loaded on the SD card.
Now moving to audio, like EcoSport, Brezza gets 4-speakers and 2 tweeters. However, the audio quality is incompatible with Nexon or EcoSport. Although not bad, it can not match the details. And you really have to play with the equalizer and audio settings to get decent output. Where SmartPlay is so superior is its ease of use and does not need too much to get used to at all.
