2018 Hyundai Elantra
Hyundai’s compact Elantra formation includes a 5-door hatchback and a 4-door sedan, in trim levels starting from the SE base to the tuned Sport variant. The Elantra GT, based on the i30 Europe, was redesigned for 2018, while the Elantra carryover sedan gained a new trim trim level. All Hyundais now comes with a free Blue Link service for the first three years of ownership.

2018 Kia Forte

Completely redesigned for 2018, the new Rio is a subcompact car available in a 5-door hatchback and a 4-door sedan body style. Highlights include LX, S, and EX trims, and each Rio has a 130-horsepower, a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine. Kia says Rio is one of the largest vehicles in its class, and the car is offered with a touchscreen infotainment system and automatic emergency braking.

2018 Nissan Versa
Two Versa models are available. The Versa Note is a 5-door hatchback based on Note (global model), while the Versa sedan is a good, 4 door sedan. Both come in trim S and SV. The Versa Note is also offered in a sporty trim SR level. For 2018, Nissan made minor changes to the Versa lineup, especially adding keyless entries with the push-button engine starting trim up.

2018 Toyota Corolla
Toyota offers the Corolla in a 5-door hatchback and a 4-door sedan body style. The hatchback is called the Corolla iM, and is based on a European model called Auris. The Corolla sedan is on a different platform and offers more rear seat space. This is the last year for the Corolla lineup in the current format, because the redesigned version is coming for 2019.
